Well, this is it. 98point3FM is dead. After investigating a complete database failure, I discovered that the ENTIRE hard drive containing the database had been corrupted. The drive also included the entire audio library. I don’t have the skill to recover from this.
If there is enough interest, I will look into Data Recovery companies to try to recover the lost audio, and rebuild the station by hand. But this is a huge, and likely expensive job. I don’t see it happening anytime soon.
It was a good run. I had fun. I hope you did, too.
